Rob Copland is an award winning comedian who’s electric live performance style has gained him a reputation as one of the most exciting and inventive live comedians on the circuit. In 2019 and 2020 Rob was a finalist in two of London's most esteemed new act competitions, Hackney Empire’s NATY and 2Northdown’s NATY as well as Winner of one of comedys toughest and most unique gong shows, Brian Gittens’ The Honk Show.

In 2022 Rob made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with ‘MAINSTREAM MUCK (gimme some of that)’. The show was well received by critics and became a word of mouth - must see show among audiences and fellow performers. The show received the award for Best Show in the Comedians Choice Awards. Rob is the first and only comedian to have won the award with a debut show. 

 

As well as performing on stage Rob is a gifted comedic actor having featured in several online sketches and short films that he’s self produced, directed and co-written. With a first class degree in film studies and a career working in television under his belt Rob is also in the unique position of being able to work in front of and behind the camera.

 

With so much achieved in his first few years as a comedian, we anticipate many more exciting things to come from the uniquely creative mind of Rob Copland.
