Kerrie Thomason is an actor, writer and dancer from Edinburgh. She holds a First Class Honours in Musical Theatre from Blackpool School of Creative Arts.


She was the principle part and solo dancer in Tim Key's ‘Single White Slut’. After a sold out run in the Pleasance Grand, Kerrie went on a UK tour, where she made her West End debut at the Duchess Theatre. The show garnered a transfer to The Melbourne Comedy Festival where she reprised her role. Since the show Tim has frequently collaborated with Kerrie on various projects.


Kerrie is the founder of comedy theatre company ‘Swipe Right Theatre’, who boast three complete sell-out Edinburgh Festival runs, and two London runs (in association with the Kings Head Theatre) for their 90s pop musical “2 Become 1”. The show has garnered a vast array of five star reviews.


Kerrie debuted her new horror-spoof musical “Scream Phone”at the Vault Festival in February 2019. It garnered a plethora of 4 & 5 star reviews and is now transferring to the Gilded Balloon for Edinburgh 2019.


On screen, Kerrie has featured in ITV’s “The Investigator”, a British Crime docu-drama which aired in April 2018, and is now currently on Netflix.


As a passionate and driven actress with teaching experience, Kerrie volunteers for ‘Scene And Heard’, a theatre based children’s charity. The volunteers help the children create pieces of theatre with drama and writing workshops. Kerrie has acted as both dramaturg and cast in the shows.


Kerrie is a fully proficient and professional stage manager, touring with companies all over the UK including (formerly) The Invisible Dot, Max & Ivan, Hysterical Women, The Saloon Boys and many more.
