Christy Coysh is a comedian, actor, writer and musician from Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Christy’s brand of high energy musical comedy and exhilarating live performances are quickly cementing him as one of the most exciting new comedians in the UK.

Christy started out in sketch comedy before deciding to start developing material as a solo act. Since then he has become a regular on the london circuit and even produced a number of viral online videos.

As well as producing his own songs he also uses a loop pedal and synthesisers to make live music, often taking suggestions from the audience and making pop inspired comedy songs that are a departure from the usual “man with a guitar” brand of musical comedy.

In 2021 he won the Musical Comedy Awards which spurred him on to take his debut show “Bangarang!” to the fringe in 2022 which was produced by Objectively Funny and filmed and streamed live as part of NextUp Comedys picks of the fringe. He has previously been a guest on Radio 4's The Now Show.

He currently has a sitcom script in development with the BBC and Boffola Pictures and hopes to keep making content and gigging until he’s “Billy Connelly rich” or until he dies.
