LOREN O'BRIEN


Loren is an actor, stand-up comedian and writer.  


Since graduating from the prestigious LAMDA school she has written and performed two critically acclaimed solo shows for The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. First ‘aLOne’ in 2015, followed up with ‘Who?’ in 2016. Both received glowing reviews and helped propel her to the title of ‘The New Current – Woman of The Year’ as well as her being included in the WOW247 Joke of the Fringe list.

Loren has also trained with the reputable American Second City improv school, whose alumni include Mike Mysers, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.

She runs a weekly comedy night, The Laff Shack – hosting the best of the London circuit including Foster’s award nominees and winners.

She was recently commissioned to write a dark comedy play ‘Tomorrow Never Happens’ for Middle Child Theatre (An associate Company to Paines Plough). 

She also this year premiered in a feature film – Egomaniac. A dark horror comedy, touring throughout major film festivals in the upcoming year.
