Ania ventured into comedy at the tender age of fifteen with a highly successful YouTube channel that attracted over 26,000 subscribers during its heyday with over 1,000,000 views. She is now in her final year “studying” English literature at Cambridge, where she has moved her focus to stand up, sketch and character comedy through her work with the Cambridge Footlights, of which she is a member. Ania is also a co-founder of Stockings, an all-female and non-binary comedy collective that support and inspire women in comedy. Stockings has burst onto the Cambridge comedy scene with the only all-female open mic nights in the city, which Magliano organises and co-hosts. In her first year at Cambridge, Ania was a writer and performer in the prestigious Cambridge Footlights International Tour Show 2017: Dream Sequence, a sketch show which had a sold out run at Pleasance Ace Dome throughout the Fringe, and went on to tour the USA throughout September.

Ania is a Funny Woman Regional Finalist 2018, a Chortle Student Finalist 2018 and has a variety of performing, directing and acting credits. She also has experience with comic writing, as seen in her widely read Fresher’s Column at university.

Ania has just finished the run of her first half hour of stand up comedy at the Edinburgh Free Fringe, frequently packing out the room and earning a 5* review from Diva Magazine. The show was listed by Comedy Central as a ‘show not to miss’.
